The Nigeria Police Force has rescued 36 kidnapped victims in Kebbi.
The victims were abducted while returning from their farms, but were successfully rescued by police operatives.
The police have since visited the community to engage with its members, debrief the rescued victims, and assure them of their continued safety and security.
Police also arrested three suspected gunrunners along the Kaduna-Kano expressway.
The suspects were found with a large cache of ammunition, including 216 rounds of 9mm live ammunition and one round of AK-47 ammunition.
The Inspector-General of Police, IGP Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun, has reiterated the commitment of the Nigeria Police Force to combating all forms of crime and criminality.
