Portable, also known as Habeeb Okikiola, has been in police custody after failing to meet bail conditions stemming from a 14 million Naira debt related to the purchase of a GLE 350 vehicle.
The singer allegedly bought the car for 27 million Naira but only paid 13 million Naira, leaving a balance of 14 million Naira.
According to reports, Portable spent the night in a police cell after being unable to fulfill the bail requirements.
The arrest and subsequent detention were confirmed by a police source, who stated that Portable had not yet provided a reliable surety for his release.
The situation arose when the car dealer demanded either the remaining payment or the return of the vehicle, as Portable claimed the car was faulty.

However, he allegedly refused both options, leading to his arrest. As of now, he remains in police custody.
It reads, “Nigerian music artiste, Habeeb Okikiola, popularly called Portable, has passed the night in a police cell following his failure to meet the bail conditions set for his release after he was arrested for refusing to pay the N14m debt he incurred when he purchased a G-Wagon from a car dealer in Lagos State.
