Controversial Nigerian singer Portable has weighed in on the escalating feud between Ayodeji Balogun, popularly known as Wizkid, and David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido.
The feud, which began on October 1 after Wizkid posted a cryptic tweet following Davido’s teaser of his upcoming 2024 single, quickly turned into a social media battle, with both artists exchanging personal insults.
Wizkid, set to release the first track of his “Morayo” album, was also mocked by Davido’s associate, Black Tycoone, for the delay. Responding, Wizkid threw shade at Davido’s camp, further intensifying the rivalry.

In an Instagram post, Portable accused both artists of using their differences for publicity as their music no longer dominates the charts. He urged them to focus on creating good music instead of relying on social media drama to remain relevant.
Portable also made it clear that he isn’t siding with either artist, stating, “I dey for myself. That’s why I dey for those who dey for me.”
