In this interview by SEYI SOKOYA, popular seer, Primate Elijah Ayodele of Inri Evangelical Spiritual Church has warned Nigerians to prepare for harder days ahead under the President Bola Tinubu administration, saying that the era of coup d’etat was not yet over in Africa. Excerpts:
Presidential election tribunal
I still maintain it that Nigeria has been entrapped. There is no other way to say it. Nigerians have been deceived; we are all going to suffer the consequences for the next four years. Even if the judges handling the presidential election cases know the truth, they will not be able to do the right thing. The situation is very dicey except God intervenes.
However, I do not think the presidential candidate of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP), Atiku Abubakar and his Labour Party (LP) counterparty, Peter Obi, are actually serious about getting victory from the court. This is because President Bola Tinubu has gone ahead of them financially, technically, spiritually and in other ramifications imaginable and otherwise. The crack in the APC is huge. If the PDP and LP do not merge, APC will do another four years. The APC is in a lot of problems. APC NEC will have major issues. There will be misunderstandings. Many hidden truths about the Tinubu victory will be revealed. Nigerians will no longer take elections seriously anymore. The masses will not see the judiciary as the place to go for justice. This election tribunal will betray the judiciary.
Economy and security
In terms of the economy and the nation’s challenges with insecurity, we are yet to see the worse. The service chiefs are super but they will not allow them to operate as expected. There will be all kinds of pretence and backstabbing. This is what would destroy Tinubu’s fight against insecurity. It would have been a very good government. But the aftermath of the Muslim/Muslim ticket will be what we will still be facing. Ethnic and religious crises are imminent.
We have seen all the ministers-designate. For me, looking at it spiritually, the same errors made by the previous administrations will be repeated. That is just the situation. That is the situation.
Let me warn Tinubu that the moment he begins to bring up policies against churches, his government will collapse. God will be angry with his government. Tinubu is not God’s purpose; he is just God’s plan for Nigeria. There is a difference between purpose and plan. But the people around him will push him to take contrary steps against churches, and the moment he does that, his government will not be the same again. I must add that Tinubu’s government and the North will fight each other. Not all the governors that you see today will end their terms in office. Not all the lawmakers will ed their terms in office. Many of them will end attacked spiritually. For instance, Adeleke is under some kind of spiritual charm. He will kill his second term opportunity by himself if he does not wake up. There is a spell on him. He would begin to make very silly mistakes.
The removal of fuel subsidy is not the answer. Our currency will continue to crash. Petrol will get to N800/liter by December. There will be the importation of adulterated fuel. This will cause a lot of trouble. Tinubu’s government must seek the face of the Lord. God never supported the Muslim/Muslim ticket. All of these prophecies will come to pass one after the other. When you say the truth, people will claim that you hate them. I don’t hate Tinubu; he is a good man. He is better than Buhari. His government would have been better than Buhari but he will be frustrated. He needs to put very capable hands to man education, health, sports and the economy. We must pray for Nigeria as a nation. We need divine intervention. The whole world will pass away, but God’s word will never go unfulfilled. There are harder days ahead. Tollgates will return. There will be increase in VAT. Loan rates will increase.
National Assembly
The National Assembly will be a rubberstamp. That assembly will betray all the expectations of Nigerians. There will be serious cases of corruption in this administration. The loyalists of the president will stab him. There are wrong people that he has placed in sensitive positions that would turn things upside down for his administration. He has people who are ready to do well but this will not happen. There will be increase in taxation. The government is looking for opportunities to task churches. The moment this starts, his government will go down. He must not sign any controversial bill that will ruin his government.
Police brutality will continue. There will be economic protests. The salaries of workers will be increased but it will not make any meaningful impact. The economic crises will hit the rich. Our stock market will worsen. Tinubu’s government will borrow a lot of money. A prominent person within Tinubu’s government will pass away. Many who worked for his election will not be appreciated. There will a lot of in-fighting. God wants to use Tinubu to help Nigerians. Restructuring is not the answer of the day. Nnamdi Kanu should be released. Keeping him incarcerated will not help matters. Those who are publicly calling for his release will also be plotting against him. Many people will continue to call for the disintegration of the country. I pity the Igbos. This government cannot survive without borrowing. Emirs will be killed. Palaces of Obas will be burnt.
International scene
I laughed when somebody said there won’t be coups anymore in Africa. That is not the truth. Coups have just started in Africa. I had warned that there would coup in Niger by July. The video is there for all to see. But African leaders do not listen. If they listen, the coup would have been prevented. Furthermore, Africa is in trouble. China, Russia and the United States of America will kill Africa. They will enslave Africa. We must know that African leaders have sold Africa to these countries. Even if these African leaders go to Russian president, Putin, they will only come back used. The Chinese government is doing all it can to ensure that its currency gains ascendancy that the US dollar currently used in Nigeria. The United States government is also trying very hard to take some African countries to join the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation (NATO).
When you look at all of these, everywhere in Africa is troubled. Nigeria is troubled. There are hired assassinations, political assassinations, kidnappings, killing of traditional rulers, churches are being attacked, and many others that would continue to be the order of the day. Kenya’s president, William Ruto, will escape an assassination attempt on his life. Kenya is in trouble.
