Many Nigerians have lamented that salaries alone may not be a comprehensive solution to the challenges posed by the state of the economy.
Engaging a post made by Tribune Online across all social media platforms, Nigerians lamented that their monthly income is not enough solution especially with the state of the economy.
A Facebook user @Adeola Adewale Anthony lamented, “Am salary earner but salary job can’t solve anything with the state of economy now.”

Another user, @Okwudiri Udeh complained, “I’m a scrab dealer. Things cost more than my income to feed my family.”
“Salary work is a bribe to forget ur future”, @Abdumumin Garuba commented.
@Wilson Tochukwu Kingsley wrote, “Am a civil servant, I always owe people at the end of the month.”
@Omabukodo Ojomakpenen Simon also said, “9 years and still counting. I should have invested my tuition fees into business and go to NOUN after succeeding in business.”
