The Senator representing Ondo Central Senatorial district, Senator Niyi Adegbonmire, has donated and handed over a digital library to the Akure Branch of the Nigerian Bar Association, (NBA) in Ondo state capital.
The E-Library is equipped with four HP Desktop Computers; a twenty-hour internet supply, alternative source of electricity driven by a 3.5 KVA solar inverter.
The library is also equipped with e-legislations, electronic versions of the Laws of the Federation of Nigeria, laws of various states of Nigeria, and an air-conditioned library hall, among others.
Speaking during the inauguration of the E-Library, the donor, Adegbonmire, said the digital library will afford members access to 24-hour online information
Adegbonmire said apart from this, the facility will allow readers to access materials on demand and enable legal researchers to find resources instantly, among other tasks, saying the library was put in place to fulfil the research and information needs of legal practitioners as required.

Adegbonmire who stated that he had practised law for over 35 years until last year when he ventured fully into politics, said the gesture is to give back to the profession that made him.
He disclosed that he hopes to return to the legal profession, saying the law has become part of him and will continue to practice to make society a better place.
He appreciated the chairman of the All Progressive Congress (APC) in the state, Engr. Ade Adetimehin, for making the dream to serve the people of the district a reality, pledging to facilitate dividends of democracy to the doorstep of the people of the state.
Speaking, the NBA branch Chairman, Mr ‘Banjo Aiyenakin, appreciated the donor for the huge project that would boost the capacity of lawyers to do their work effectively.
The NBA Branch Chairman enjoined members to feel free to visit the NBA House to access the facilities for use between the hours of 8 am to 6 pm daily as the equipment is fully powered without electricity failure.
The Deputy Governor of Ondo State, Dr Olayide Adelami, also appreciated the donor for his sterling leadership just as he charged others to take a cue from the gesture.
The Special Guest, Hon Justice Olusegun Odusola, the Chief Judge of Ondo State, commended the donor for the provision of the digital library, acknowledging that it will be of immense benefit to members of the Bar and the judiciary.
In a separate remark, Oba Aladetoyinbo Ogunlade Aladelusi, the Deji of Akure Kingdom, appreciated Senator Adegbonmire for making Akure proud always.
