A member of the National Assembly representing Oyo South Senate district, Senator Sharafadeen Alli, has called on Nigerians to shelve their plans to commence a protest on August 1, as he submitted that the present temporary will usher in long-lasting prosperity.

 

This is contained in a statement signed by his Special Adviser on Media, Akeem Abas and made available to newsmen on Saturday in Ibadan.

 

Alli appealed to the citizens to exercise patience and trust in the administration of President Bola Tinubu, affirming that the government has the best interests of the nation at heart.

 

He acknowledged the current hardships faced by Nigerians, but assured the populace that these challenges are temporary and part of a strategic effort to pave the way for long-lasting prosperity.

 

“We understand the pain and the struggle, but we are on a path to significant improvement,” he said.

 

Alli said that President Tinubu’s administration was implementing policies designed to stabilise the economy and create a more sustainable future for all Nigerians.

 

He urged the citizens to remain hopeful and patient, as these policies would  eventually yield positive results.

 

“Transformation is never easy, but the outcome will benefit us all,” he said.

 

Alli urged all to embrace the spirit of unity and resilience that has always characterised Nigerians.

He urged the citizens to stand together in support of government’s efforts, reminding them that collective patience and cooperation were crucial during this transformative period.

 

Alli reiterated his call for calm and patience, urging Nigerians to shelve the planned protest.

 

He assured them that their sacrifices and patience would not be in vain, as the administration was committed to delivering a prosperous future for the nation.

 

“We need to support our leaders and trust the process.

 

“Let’s give peace and patience a chance. Better days are ahead,” he concluded.
