Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, Daniel Bwala has accused lawmaker representing Borno South, Senator Ali Ndume of planning to join opposition ahead of 2027 general election.
Mr. Bwala noted that ruling All Progressives Congress should be not be surprised when the lawmaker join strong opposition members like Atiku Abubakar, Peter Obi and El Rufai.

Speaking on Channel Television show on Sunday, the former chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party added that the Senator Ndume’s spirit and soul are already with the political enemies of the APC.

He said: “Let me tell you today and I want everybody to hear, especially the chairman of the All Progressives Congress, Abdullahi Ganduje. Senator Ali Ndume’s spirit and soul are with the coalition; it is his body that is in APC. He is already going.
“It is better the way (Nasir) el-Rufai did: just say I am leaving. You’d give more honour and credit to el-Rufai that he didn’t feel he could stay and be a snitch.”
INFORMATION NIGERIA reports that ever since the day President Tinubu forwarded a controversial tax reform bill to the Senate, Senator Ndume has been a frontline critic for the current administration.
The Borno lawmaker believe that the legislation was created to destroy northerners and enrich South West.
He has also accused Tinubu of nepotism, saying that the current administration has been neglecting northerners in power sharing in the country’s affairs.
