The Anambra State Governor, Chukwuma Charles Soludo, and his Enugu State counterpart, Dr. Peter Mbah, have pledged their solidarity and support for the administration and broad vision of the Vice-Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University, Professor Bernard Ifeanyi Odoh.
Both governors spoke on Saturday during a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor while attending the 13th Annual Zik Lecture Series held at the university’s main campus in Awka.
Governor Soludo, represented by his Deputy, Dr. Onyekachukwu Ibezim, expressed optimism that the new Vice-Chancellor would successfully implement his plans for the institution.

Enugu State Governor, Dr. Peter Mbah, also commended the Vice-Chancellor for his foresight and lofty vision for the university. He assured the readiness of his government to partner with the institution to ensure a successful tenure.
He added that he has no doubt in the Vice-Chancellor’s capacity to position the institution on the global map.
In response, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Odoh, appreciated both governments for their roles in providing governance and assured them of his administration’s readiness and commitment to fostering stronger ties and collaborations with relevant agencies and governments in advancing its Disruptive Model development blueprint.
