A prominent traditional ruler in the South East region of Nigeria, HRH Eze (Dr) Abdulfatah Chimaeze Emetumah, has called on all Nigerians, particularly Abuja residents, to continue to support the Minister of FCT, Nyesom Wike, on his giant developmental strides in Abuja.
Eze Emetumah urged the Minister, whom he described as Mr PROJECT, to continue his good work on the development of FCT.
In a statement issued in Owerri on Friday by the Royal Father, who is also the Traditional Ruler of Umuofor Ancient Kingdom in Oguta LGA of Imo State and a member of the National Council of Traditional Rulers of Nigeria, he expressed joy with the rapid infrastructural development going on in the FCT within a short period.
He said that Wike’s administration as the Minister of FCT, Abuja, will soon bring back the glory days as the fastest-growing modern capital city in Africa, which has the potential to be a global tourism destination.
He advised that all necessary steps should be taken immediately to review its environmental cleanliness, which must be followed with sensitisation of the inhabitants leading to sanitisation.
The monarch thanked and commended the FCT Minister and Minister of State with their team for their hard work, effort, and capacity so far.
He expressed optimism that he would be among the invitees received by the Honourable Minister to unveil his classified strategies to achieve his mantra of making Abuja great again as well as the cultural tourism bus stop in Africa.
