Nollywood actor, Ikechukwu Ogbonna, aka IK Ogbonna has urged fans to stop bullying celebrities, as many live in depression.

IK Ogbonna has taken a stance, urging Nigerians to think about their conduct as they seek justice for the late Mohbad.

He stated this via a post on his Instagram handle.

He said, “It’s sad how fans fighting for justice for Mohbad are the same people bullying other celebrities online.

“We are all against any form of bullying. But the same fans are out there on our timelines bullying every celebrity. Dear fans, a lot of celebrities are living in depression and you are partially responsible. Stop bullying. Stop fueling false stories. Be the light you seek. A Plea for Empathy.”

He contended that several of his fellow celebrities were struggling privately with depression and anxiety, and that internet bullying simply compounded their problems.

Ogbonna advocated for a more compassionate approach, noting that the fight for justice should not come at the expense of another person’s mental health.
