Following the crisis emanated from the recent enforcement of Oyo State High Court order at Moniya in Akinyele Local Government Area of Oyo State, the Mogaji of Akinsola’s compound, Ibadan, Chief Olawale Oladoja, has apologised to the Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Imperial majesty, Oba Mohood Olalekan Balogun, Okumade II and members of Olubadan-in-Council for the embarrassment his actions might have caused them.

In a statement made available to journalists on Friday in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, Oladoja offered an apology for the way he went about the enforcement of the court judgment.

The statement reads in part:”I want to sincerely tender my honest apology to our Baba for the way the whole efforts of carrying out the court judgement went.

“I also thank our revered Kaabiyesi, Olubadan for his fatherly role in all that happened and his timely intervention.

“I also apologise to members of the Olubadan-in-Council for the embarrassment the event might have caused them.

“Let me also commend everyone who had shown concern in the misunderstanding and we hope the issue will soon be resolved.”
