Nationnewslead report that Owaloko of Iloko-Ijesa HRM Oba Dr. Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe and prominent personalities from different parts of the country on Saturday, 18th February 2023, attended the wedding ceremony of Olaitan Adebowale & Olanrewaju Emmanuel, held at RCCG Divine Glory Parish Lagos Province 14 plot 25/27, Eddy Onugha Drive, Okota Road, Okota, Lagos

The solemnization between Olanrewaju Emmanuel and his wife, Olaitan Adebola, was also witnessed by traditional rulers, religion leaders, among others.

Among the traditional rulers were Oniwoye of Iwoye-Ijesa, HRM Oba Amos Adewunmi Ogidiolu, Olomo of Omo-Ijesa, HRM Oba Oluwaseyi Adeolu Adejola Odundun ll, Ado Oko of Ido Oko, Hrm Oba Micheal Babatunde Adedeji.

The husband is the son of the late Mr Ayodele & Late Mrs Comfort Banwo, while his wife is the daughter of Pastor Olagboye & Pastor Mrs Kehinde Adesanya.

Owaloko, has called on married couples to trust for the sustenance of their marital union.

Oba Akeem Ogungbangbe made this call during Wedding ceremony between Late Mr Ayodele & Late Mrs Comfort Banwo and Pastor Olagboye & Pastor Mrs Kehinde Adesanya at Okota in Oshodi/Isolo Local Government Area, Lagos State.

Owaloko said “only God can keep a marriage”.

 

“Marriage is the only job that you are certificated for before you start. Your ability to keep that certificate is what matters and it is only God that can help you keep your marital vows, you must rely on God at all times,”

Owaloko stressed, noting, “the parents of the couple have shown good parental quality by raising them to maturity. I am happy for them and thank God for today’s occasion”.

He advised the couple to remain close to God always and continue to love themselves, urging them to avoid tendencies that are inimical to their marriage, enjoining them to continue to appropriate His mercies to the betterment of their union.

Owaloko stated that “marriage is a mystery and institution ordained by God,” noting that “it is a union of body, soul and spirit,” pointing out that “it takes prayer and focus on God to sustain marriage,” urging the couple to “be in love, oneness, peace and be committed to one another,” adding that they should guard their marital life jealously”. the monarch said.
