A group of 108 former senators elected under the All Progressives Congress (APC) has observed that President Bola Tinubu is showing that he is not afraid to confront daunting national problems head-on.
In a message of congratulations to the president on his 72nd birthday signed by its convener and former senator representing Katsina south, Basheer Lado, on Saturday, the group expressed confidence that Nigeria will witness a new dawn under the policies currently being implemented by the Tinubu administration.
According to the former legislators, the president’s action has inspired not just members of the ruling party but all lovers of good governance and progress.
Describing the president as a “fearless warrior,” the non-serving senators affirmed that he is charting a new course for the country that will lead to growth and prosperity.
They also posited that Nigeria’s standing in the international community has received a massive boost since the coming of the Tinubu administration, vowing to support his government in its bid to transform the economy of the country.
The message further noted. “On behalf of the 108 APC non-serving Senators Council, we extend our heartfelt birthday wishes to our esteemed President, leader, and Colleague, Distinguished Senator Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR.
“As our President, you have consistently demonstrated the ability to confront challenges head-on, inspiring us to follow your lead.
“As the Jagaban warrior, you have fearlessly led our country on the economic war, charting a path towards prosperity and growth.
“Under your leadership, Nigeria’s stance on the global stage is undergoing a profound strengthening.
“As fellow members of the APC Non-Serving Senators Council, we stand united in our commitment to support you in your endeavors.
“Together we will continue to work tirelessly to advance the interests of our party and the Nigerian people.”
The group offered prayers on the president’s birthday and wished him success in his desire to transform the
country.
