Minister for Works David Umahi has called on Nigerians to play less of politics and support the government of President Ahmed Tinubu whose governance according to him, is very healthy for business environment.
Umahi stated this in an interview with some Journalists at his country home Uburu at the weekend, while calling Cement manufacturers to contribute to the solving of the problem the country is facing currently.
According to him, government is not the problem of the country but individuals. He then called on other cement manufacturers to come up adding that more cement manufacturers in the country will reduce unemployment and pressure in dollars.
Recall the high price of cement in the country skyrocketed in February from 5500 – 14000 thereby increasing the hardship and hunger in the country.
Umahi, however, charged cement manufacturers to implement their agreement with Mr President and return to the old price.
” I encourage Other cement manufacturers to come up. That will create more jobs and reduce pressure on dollar.
“The door is very very open, Mr president governance is very healthy for business environment,” he said.
