The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Students’ Engagement, Hon. Sunday Asefon, has said that President Bola Tinubu undertook the strategic cabinet reshuffle in key sectors in order to further enhance the effectiveness of his administration.
Asefon in a statement added that the action was a a further demonstration his commitment to ensuring good governance.
“This act is both timely and perfect, designed to realign leadership with the core priorities of the nation, particularly in key sectors such as youth development and education,” he said.
Asefon, a former President of National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) particularly commended the elevation of Mr. Ayodele Olawande as the Senior Minister of Youth Development, noting that his appointment is a clear reward for his commitment, dedication, and resilience in advocating for the needs and aspirations of Nigerian youth.

He highlighted Olawande’s unwavering dedication to youth empowerment and inclusive development which he noted stands as a beacon of hope for the future of our young generation.

“This reshuffle sends a strong message that the administration is focused on delivering quality and inclusive education for all, which is a critical foundation for national progress and development.
