1. Pharmacy

You must have credits in these subjects; Mathematics, English, Biology, Physics and Chemistry before you can apply for this course and it takes five to six years. You must have a Bachelor of Science in Surgery or anything related to get admitted for a Postgraduate programme.
3. Nursing
Nursing is a profession that incorporates careness and protection in order to avert illness. Nursing is one of the top and relevant professions in Nigeria. 4. Dentistry

It takes four years and you would also go for professional programmes such as ICAN, ACCA, CIMA for you to be a certified Chartered Accountant.

Economics is the study that focuses on analysing business choices by individuals or the government. Including the production of goods and services. You need to pass economics and any of the following; Mathematics, Geography, Agricultural Science, Accounting and Government. Economics is a four year social science course. Postgraduate programme for Economics is two years.
7. Computer Science
Computer science is the study of information processing, design and implementation of software and hardware. Due to its relevance in the labour market, it has continued to remain one of the top science courses in Nigeria. All you need is to pass Mathematics, Physics, English and any of these; Further Mathematics, Chemistry and Biology to attempt entry exams for admission into the University. Computer science is a four year study. For a Postgraduate, it can last two to three years.
8. Petroleum Engineering
Petroleum Engineering deals with the production of hydrocarbons, that is, natural gas or crude oil. Chemistry, Physics, English Language and any of Biology and Agricultural Science are what you need to study this field. For undergraduate programme, it is four years while postgraduate is two years.
9. Agricultural Science
Agricultural Science is the study of techniques and activities that can change the environment using plants and animals. You need any of the following to study Agriculture; Mathematics, Economics, Geography and English. It’s a minimum of four years, depending on school; Masters is for two years.
10. Marketing
Marketing is very essential in any business; it is the process of communicating offerings to partners, clients or customers. It is basically ensuring satisfying and retaining clients. You must have credits in Economics, English and Mathematics before you can study Marketing. It is a four year course and two years for a Masters programme.
