There have been controversy trailing announcement by the Resident Electoral Commissioner (REC) for the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) in Adamawa State, Barrister Hudu Yunusa, declaring the candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Aisha Binani as winner of the state’s governorship election.
According to a video making the rounds, Yunusa returned Binani elected having polled the highest votes but failed to disclose the number of votes secured by the APC candidate against her rival and incumbent governor of the state, Umar Fintiri after the Saturday’s supplementary election in the state.
