Popular British YouTube personality and rapper Yung Filly, real name Andres Felipe Valencia Barrientos, has been arrested in Australia on charges of sexual assault.
The 29-year-old was detained in Brisbane on Tuesday, October 8, and subsequently extradited to Perth.
The allegations stem from an incident on September 28, 2024, when Barrientos allegedly sexually assaulted a woman in her 20s at his hotel following a performance at Bar120 in Hillarys, Perth, the previous evening.
He now faces four counts of sexual penetration without consent, three counts of assault, and one count of impeding the woman’s normal breathing by applying pressure to her neck.
Barrientos appeared before the Perth Magistrates Court on Wednesday, October 10, where Magistrate Tanya Watt granted him bail under strict conditions.
These include a ban on contacting the alleged victim or posting about the case on social media, daily police reporting, and a personal $100,000 cash surety. He is also required to remain in Western Australia.
Barrientos, a popular figure on social media with over 8 million followers across YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok, has risen to mainstream prominence with appearances on shows like The Great Celebrity Bake Off for SU2C, Would I Lie To You?, and Hot Property.
He has also made a name for himself in the music industry since 2017.
