CONGRATULATORY MESSAGE TO THE GOVERNOR ELECT HIS EXCELLENCY SEN. NURUDEEN ADEMOLA ADELEKE FROM OSUN STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENTS’ UNION (OSUSU).
Your Excellency,
On Behalf of the Leadership and Members of the Osun State University Students’ Union, I congratulate you on your emergence as the Governor Elect of Osun State in the just concluded governorship elections held on Saturday, 16th July, 2022 under the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP).
Your victory is a victory for all the good people of Osun irrespective of political affiliations as it shows that the hand of the Almighty God is truly on our dear state.
You contested the election against several qualified fellow sons of Osun State whom I am confident also have the best interest of Osun State at heart in offering up themselves for service and I believe they will continue to put the interest of our State first in all their actions.
Your campaign slogan of IMOLE (which means light) is one which encapsulates the whole yearning of the masses and we expect that you will hit the ground running as you face this daunting task. The task ahead is enormous but the fact that you have goodwill from across board should make the task a bit easy for you and we hope that you will use this goodwill to make all of us proud of you.
Let your word be your bond. Let there be a positive difference seen and felt across the state. The best way to thank the people of Osun State, especially the youth, for this mandate is by giving it your best shot and delivering on your campaign promises.
We want to respectfully remind you that you are here to represent the entire interest of Osun State not your zone or family members. We urge you to dare to be different. A lot of trust and confidence have been bestowed upon you and we expect that you do not disappoint. The most paramount to us is for you to fulfill your blueprint on education in the state and we believe that during your time, our education will have a great boost.
Once again, Congratulations Your Excellency and thanks for your tenacity, steadfastness and consistent courage.
The work starts now!!!! It’s time to write your name in gold.
