In a statement, Ambassador Mills Jr. commended the people of Edo State for the largely peaceful conduct of the gubernatorial elections held on September 21.
He specifically praised Governor Obaseki’s appeal for peace and emphasised the importance of transparency and due process in maintaining public confidence in democratic systems.
