Value can simply be described as the relative worth, merit, or importance attached to certain items or individuals. It is how you quantify the usefulness and worthiness of any precious elements.
As individuals, we all possess values and perhaps, valuable possessions. Every individual is certainly embedded with value in diverse ways. The worthiness of the value has a lot to do with the extent of improvement efforts required at refining them for impact and transforming them into a valuable possession.
It goes further to say that the value placed by any individual on any valuable, is the same that will be accepted or accorded it by others.
May I then ask, what are the values you possess as an individual or organization?
To what extent are you refining that valuable to worthiness, such that the value can get better and attract more value than previous experiences or encounters?
Approaching this discussion from the angle of your career, business or personal life will help to drive the point home cleverly.
As a career-minded person, what significant improvements have you made, or will you be making at getting better and to improve the worthiness of your valuables as it may be expressed in your skill, attitudes, communication, relationship and capacity to deliver excellently on your job in 2022.
As a business person/owner, what is the innovation or creative problem-solving ideas that you have or will be injecting into your business operations, that will bring more worthwhile experience, benefit or quality such that can attract better value to the bottom line of the organization.
As an individual, how do you want to be received or perceived concerning your personality and competencies? You earn more respect and a greater value based on how you are received or perceived at every encounter you have with people.
People are conscious of the values deposited in you, and such explains their demand on your worthiness and values.
Value is an Estimation
Until having an encounter or experiencing the worth of any item or person, the value is usually either underestimated or overestimated. So, estimation gives room for assumption until otherwise proven.
HOW TO ATTRACT VALUES
Develop Personal Value
Our values are the standards by which we hold ourselves. Value is an internal metric system of worthiness that is relative to one’s perception of the value of others. It’s similar to social status.
When we have a high value on a certain aspect of our identity, we get to receive equivalent value. It is said, ” If you don’t stand for something, then you will fall for anything”. You must develop values that best describes and expresses your worthiness as a person. Knowing that value attract value. Each person’s values are different, and each value will hold a different strength for different persons. Almost every individual has a long-term social strategy of building value. The higher the value is perceived, the more attraction there is.

A large part of being a high-value person is your willingness to express the sacred values you believe in for the world to see. It’s one thing to have an understanding of your convictions, but without having the courage to apply them externally, people don’t know that you have an inner light you’d like to shine.
Consciously decide what your values are.
What is your life about?
What are you willing to live and die for?
What’s most important to you in a relationship?
How do you want to show up in the world as what you want to be remembered by?
When your thoughts, behaviour, actions match in complete alignment with your value system, your radar for attracting people, opportunities, lifestyle changes to reinforce your standards becomes an automatic consequence of your shift.
Expressiveness of Being
When it comes to your expressiveness of being, communicate openly what brings you joy, laughter, sadness, anger. Express your depths more generously, courageously so that others can connect to you authentically. Keep in mind that there is a difference between sharing your opinion and venting.
Before you express your opinions, have you backed up your stance by taking action to make an impact on your beliefs?
Or, are you simply making noise without any desire to change the script on what is going on with the world by bettering it by moving the needle each day?
Commitment To Your Values
Once you gain clarity around your value system, make the conscious decision to commit to them as if your life depends on it — because it does.
Dreams and goals without commitment have no sustaining power.
There’s integrity in not only being clear on what you want but also being willing to live a life that is a bit more difficult. This is not because the values that you choose are probably going to be hard values to live up to but because it will make a demand on you. This is where your self-discipline comes in to support you in staying on track at maintaining your values.
When you commit to your values, your greatness and your inner truth, you commit to being the best version of yourself.
Protect Your Commitment to Yourself
Part of that commitment is protecting your values by setting healthy boundaries and expressing your needs.
The commitment to expressing your needs is going to be something that gets you much more of what you want with a lot less potential for failure.
Part of being of high value is the place of setting healthy boundaries and also the ability to walk away from things that no longer serve you. You must have a deep sense of faith in yourself and a firm believe that there’s something in line for you that is much better than the people, places and things that don’t resonate with your highest value.
These are aspects that will put you on the fast track to attracting the right people and situations that will continue to cultivate the direction of your high-value priorities to support you on your goals to greatness.
Enhance your value by expanding your identity
Find the kind of people you value by narrowing your demographics. A large part of being a high-value person is your willingness to express the sacred values you believe in for the world to see. Establish certain factors that help narrow your posture, such as:

Develop Valuable Competency
As you evolve, there is the tendency to have higher demand or attract high expectations. Given the effort you deplored on enhancing your values, it is expected that the result or output will naturally expose you and give you a superior identity which in turn promotes your validity and attract more values or valuable people in search of value possessed by you.
At this point, it is naturally expedient for you to challenge yourself at getting better by developing more capacity and competencies. Once it is discovered at your workplace or by the circle of influence where you operate, you must be expectant of such demand for higher responsibilities.
Suffice to say that this plays out at every area of influence, career and even at the workplace.
The development of competence must not only be aligned with your value but also be relevant to the need around you and must be futuristic as well.
Taking for example, the pandemic which exposed lots of limitations of many people and at the same time provided an opportunity to scale up skills, competence and capacity. So it is essential to identify the valuable competence/skills that align with your value as well as important to the advancement of the value attracted by you.
Conclusively, value indeed attracts value and a person who believes in their value will attract others who believe in it too. You really cannot give what you don’t have and it is also difficult to fake it. However, you can get better at acquiring or possessing values that you are deficient in.
Excelling in 2022 with regards to any areas of interest to you requires that you pay attention to the values you exhibit and attract. Everything you’ve ever enjoyed or disliked was a result of the value you gave that object, person, or experience.
When people tend to speak about a value an individual hold, they are talking about the individual’s ideas and beliefs that they value higher than other ones.
So, to harness higher quality value, be circumspect about the value you exhibit.
