It was a moment of celebration as the Elere Of Ere-Ijesa City, Oba Augustine Adenipekun Alowolodu, marked his eight coronation anniversary in Oriade Local Government Area of Osun State.
A series of events were held to mark the occasion, including the beauty pageant, praise and worship among other activities.
Speaking during the event, an elated Oba Augustine Adenipekun Alowolodu, said, “I’m indeed happy that the eight year coronation anniversary is here.
“I’m thankful to God and my people at home, and across the world for their prayers and overwhelming support since the day I ascended the throne.
“I want to use this opportunity to once again call on all sons and daughters of our great town to eschew all forms of troubles as we celebrate and rejoice together.”
He also thanked the Osun State Governor, Ademola Jackson Nurudeen Adeleke, and other notable government officials for always remembering the community and making it a habitable town.
