The Owaloko of Iloko Ijesa, His Royal Majesty, Oba Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe, has described the Owa–Obokun of Ijesaland, His Royal Majesty, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, as an uncommonly revered monarch who should be held in high esteem by true sons and daughters of Ijesaland.
Oba Akeem stated this on Monday afternoon in Ilesa during a historic courtesy visit to the monarch at his sprawling palace called OWA OBOKUN ADIMULA.
The Owaloko who came with some of his chiefs and prominent Ijesa sons and daughters said, “I am so happy to pay the Owa-Obokun a visit for the first time.
“I see Your Majesty as God’s chosen for this generation because your programme of ‘peace and unity” that you preach around the world is what is needed at this time in Ijesaland,” Owaloko added.
