THE Ijebu-Ode Grammar School Old Boys Association (JOGSOBA) has reiterated its commitment to supporting the Ogun State government’s efforts in providing quality education to pupils.
This was made known during the press conference as part of activities marking the 112th founder’s day anniversary of the school.
Speaking at the event, national president of the association, Otunba Ayokunle Bolujoko, emphasised that the association, which was established in 1922 will continue to support the school and its students while complementing the state government’s efforts to enhance the quality of education in the state.
As part of the celebrations, Bolujoko also highlighted the school’s long history of outstanding achievements in academics, sports and other fields.
He further noted that JOGSOBA has made significant contributions to the school, including the construction of classrooms, establishment of a clinic centre and equipping the ICT centre with necessary equipment, just to complement the state government’s efforts towards ensuring quality education.
Chairman, JOGSOBA Board of Trustees (BOT), Ebenezer Osoba thanked members of the association for upholding the legacy of the founding father of Ijebu-Ode Grammar School.
Dignitaries at the event are Ayokunle Bolujoko (national president); Dr Olu Daniels (vice president); Afolabi Idowu (assistant secretary); Asiwaju Temitope Olukoya (treasurer); Adebiyi Hammed Adesanwo (social secretary), among others.
