As part of her efforts to draw attention to early detection breast cancer for women, especially those unlettered, Princess Adediwura Adedoyin and her team, representing her brand, Adediwura Posh Make-up Studio, recently conducted a breast cancer awareness walk in Ibadan, the capital of Oyo State.
The initiative was aimed at encouraging women to undergo regular breast check-ups for their medical well-being.
Renowned for her career in the world of fashion and beauty, Princess Adedoyin took a stand against the alarming rise of breast cancer cases and the prevailing lack of awareness in the city of Ibadan.
In her multifaceted career, which includes roles such as a former presenter on Eko FM and a red carpet host, she has consistently showcased her expertise in creating timeless and captivating makeup looks.
Adediwura said her commitment to raising awareness about breast cancer goes beyond the glamorous facade of the fashion industry.
She noted that the need for increased attention to the disease could not be over emphasised as she advocated for preventive measures during the awareness walk.
The event, organized in collaboration with the Breast Cancer Association of Nigeria, not only promised a touch of glamour but also delivers a crucial life-saving message to the community, particularly market women.
As a mother of two girls, Princess Adedoyin said she believes that true beauty extends beyond makeup artistry; it encompasses the overall well-being and healthiness of women and the girl-child.
According to her, merging makeup artistry with a noble cause reflects her passion for adding value to people’s lives and promoting a healthy lifestyle.
