Xolane Ndhlovu has explained the reasons behind his recent generous act, which has captured the attention of many.
The newly minted South African billionaire, known for his humility and extensive philanthropic work, gifted a house to Thandile Ramza, an unemployed single mother he met through Facebook.
Ndhlovu, whose name is synonymous with numerous charitable deeds, represents a class of wealthy individuals who shy away from ostentatious displays of wealth, focusing instead on giving back to society. From supporting educational causes and contributing to Covid-19 relief and war victims in Ukraine, to helping families in need, Ndhlovu’s compassion continues to inspire.
Ramza, a young mother from East London, South Africa, initially reached out to the tech billionaire on Facebook, asking for food assistance. Ndhlovu responded not only by providing food but also helping her secure a job, a car, and eventually a brand-new house.
The house, built at a cost of R770,000, replaced the dilapidated structure Ramza had inherited, which was in severe disrepair. Ndhlovu shared his motivation on Instagram, explaining that the condition of the house deeply moved him, prompting him to take swift action.
