Nigerian singer, Shasha Damilola Alesh, popularly known as Dice Ailes, has stated the reason why he sees himself as the greatest of all time in the music industry.
The singer, who is known for the hit singles “Otedola” and “Ella”, disclosed this while answering questions on the concept of his new music video “Dice Baba” released on the 28th of June, 2024.
He said “I Influenced the new generation of Afrobeats artists, both in sound and fashion. I see myself as one of the GOATS in the game.”
His new claims have stirred up conversations among music lovers on social media.
In 2022, music producer, CKay, who produced some of Dicey’s early records while they were both signed to Chocolate City said they both created a whole new wave of Afrobeats.
“Back in my CC days, Dice Ailes and I created a sound that birthed a whole new wave of Afrobeats. It’s so funny how today some people twist the narrative and say we copied a sound we created lol,” CKay wrote.
