Tomiwa Dada is the Co-Founder of Temitope Tomiwa Dada Foundation (TetodFoundation), and Founder of Babes Of Most High, Convener of The Made Women Conference, CEO at The Ayaba Collections, a speaker, wife and mother of three. In this interview with ROTIMI IGE, she speaks on the ‘Babes of the Most High Conference’ and why it is important for women of all ages.

What is the main theme of the ‘Babes of the Most High Conference’, and why is it important now?

The theme of this year’s conference is “The Made Women”, God is saying it’s about time for us as women to wake up and begin to take our place more in society and the marketplace. The motive behind this is for women out there to be inspired and get up from their comfort zones. Yes, I know we are usually celebrated on Mother’s Day or International Women’s Day, but we can also be celebrated for our new innovations. As a woman, God has given us the go-ahead as found in the Bible.

Women continue to face unique challenges in business, leadership, and personal development. A platform like the conference helps provide support, resources, and a network to overcome these barriers.

Who is the target audience for this event?

This conference is designed for women, both young and old; industry professionals, students, policymakers, and entrepreneurs. Women seeking growth in leadership roles across various sectors like business, and community initiatives, women who own or wish to start their businesses and are looking for mentorship, networking, and skill development, Early-career women aiming to advance in their fields and build strong professional networks, Young women who are building their careers and seeking inspiration, guidance, and empowerment, omen in the corporate world aiming to climb the career ladder, break glass ceilings, and become role models for others. However, it is open to anyone who has a passion to learn and embrace growth to be Made for More, in all spheres of life.

What makes this conference unique?

The conference is aimed at uplifting women, particularly those who are driven to succeed in business, leadership, and all spheres of life. It offers a space for women to come together, share experiences, and support each other in navigating their unique challenges.

We are also having inspirational female leaders, entrepreneurs, and professionals who have made a significant impact in their fields. This provides attendees with both role models and practical advice on achieving success.

While many conferences focus on business or professional development, the Made Women Conference incorporates themes of personal growth, mental health, and emotional well-being, recognising the importance of balancing success with self-care.

The conference also provides a platform for women from diverse backgrounds and industries to connect, collaborate, and forge meaningful relationships, promoting a community-driven approach to success.

Can you give us a preview of the keyspeakers or sessions we can look forward to?

We have an incredible lineup of speakers this year, Pastor Morin Makinde, as our Keynote Speaker including Naz Shah, a member of the Parliament for Bradford, United Kingdom. She will be coming in to share her inspiring story as to how she managed to get to this stage in her career. One of the highlights will be a panel on entrepreneurship, mental health, also, relationship and marriage talks where experts will delve into these conversations.

How do you hope participants will benefit from attending the conference?

I hope participants walk away with new perspectives, actionable insights, and meaningful connections. Whether they’re looking to implement new strategies in their work or want to be part of a larger movement, this conference is designed to equip them with the tools and knowledge to make a difference. Ultimately, I want everyone to leave feeling inspired and empowered to take action.” Also, I want to see a generation of women all fired up for God and I know it’s going to be a time of intimacy with God for them.

What are the challenges you face as a conference convener?

One of the biggest challenges is ensuring that the event is inclusive and addresses the concerns of all attendees. Bringing together diverse voices means catering for different expectations and interests, so it’s important to create a balance. Another challenge is logistical – organising an event of this scale requires careful planning and coordination to make sure everything runs smoothly.”

How do you measure the success of the conference?

Success, for me, is when attendees not only leave with valuable insights but also feel connected to a broader network of like-minded individuals. If we can facilitate collaborations that extend beyond the conference and create lasting impact, that’s a win. We also use feedback from participants to gauge how well the sessions met their expectations and whether the content sparked new ideas or actions.”
