Special Adviser on Policy Communication to President Bola Tinubu, Daniel Bwala has berated former Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi, for criticizing current administration.
Mr. Bwala suggested that Obi should have no position on issues of June 12, 1993.

The former Peoples Democratic Party’s chieftain noted that the ex- Anambra State governor was in Malaysia buying and selling, adding that he has no record of participating in the struggle.

The former Anambra State governor added that the President should emulate ex-President Yar’Adua in accepting that the process through which he came to power was wrong.
He also noted that Tinubu should be like Jonathan who saved Nigeria’s democracy by accepting defeat in 2015 presidential poll.
Obi said that there is no democracy under the administration of President Tinubu.
Reacting to the claims made by the Labour Party’s chieftain in a statement on Friday, Bwala said that the former governor should not comment on issues of democratic struggle in Nigeria.
He said: “Please can someone confirm to me whether it is true that on June 12, 1993 and weeks after that Peter Gregory Obi was in Malaysia or somewhere in Asia doing buying and selling trading business?
“I searched the internet to see any of his involvement in the struggle for democracy, I couldn’t see any link ohh.”
