The Interim Joint Matriculation Board ( IJMB) has ranked The Federal Polytechnic Offa, Kwara State as the only tertiary institution with best performance in the just released IJMB result of 2019/2020 session.
This was contained in a letter of recommendation signed by Dr. Haruna Aminu, IJMB Coordinator Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University Zaria.
The letter reads:” I write on behalf of Interim Matriculation Board ( IJMB) to formally congratulate you and your school for the exemplary performance during the just concluded IJMB result of 2019/2020 session.”
“It is on record that your school is the only school that has 100% pass out of 97 centers in Nigeria. Congratulations and best regards to your Rector and the Polytechnic Management.”
Recalled that the Polytechnic was ranked as best affiliated institution by Nigerian Universities Commission ( NUC ) earlier this year. The Federal Polytechnic Offa in affiliation with the Federal University of Technology Minna ( FUTMINNA ) was declared best affiliated institution after an assessment exercise conducted by the Commission and was announced the best with a performance grade of 99.3% out of 104 of such arrangements.
The Rector, Dr. Lateef Olatunji however acknowledged the IJMB’s commendation and described the achievement as well deserved. He further assured the Interim Joint Matriculation Board Institute of Education, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria of robust partnership to further take both institutions to the zenith of academic execellence.
While Pastor Kunle Israel, Director of IJMB of the Federal Polytechnic Offa commended the Management led by Dr. Lateef Olatunji for creating an enabling environment for teaching and learning that accounted for the excellent performance of the students.
