ABOUT 6,080 students graduated from the Redeemed Christian Bible College (RCBC), including five doctoral graduates.
The ceremony was part of the activities marking the one-week 72nd annual convention of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG).
It took place at Redemption City along the Lagos-Ibadan expressway on the first day of the convention and was presided over by the church’s General Overseer, Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, his wife, Pastor Folu Adeboye, and other senior officers of the church.
The graduation ceremony was attended by representatives from over 196 countries and featured activities such as Bible teachings, business and marriage seminars, and prophetic ministrations.
Pastor Adeboye congratulated and blessed the graduates, adding, “I pray that you will leave here heavily anointed. We pray that after your graduation, you will become godly. May the sick recover when you lay hands on them, and may demons obey when you command them.”
“When you preach the gospel, your words would be fire. The heart of the hearer would melt even as you speak. Above all these, I pray none of you will miss heaven,” he added.
The new Provost of the institution, Dr. Alaba Oti, promised that, with the dedication of the college’s workers, the institution would not relent in producing quality and well-prepared students.
