Nigerian Afrobeat star Davido’s popular wedding hit, “Ogechi Remix,” has been removed from YouTube due to copyright issues.
The song, which featured BoyPee, Brown Joel, and Hyce, gained widespread attention after Davido performed it live at his wedding to Chioma on June 25, 2024.
The music video was uploaded on July 19, 2024, and quickly became a favourite among fans.
However, YouTube recently took down the video following a copyright claim.
Despite the removal of the music video, the audio remains accessible on BoyPee’s official YouTube page.
Interestingly, Davido is not credited as the official artist for the song on YouTube, which may have contributed to the copyright dispute.
A trending video has surfaced online showing that the original version of “Ogechi” was created by another artist before the remix, adding another layer to the copyright controversy surrounding the track.
