A 27-year-old man, Kabir Sani has been arrested by the Yobe State Police Command for alleged offence of criminal conspiracy, kidnapping, homicide and armed robbery.
Command PPRO, Dungus Abdulkarim in a crime bulletin made available to Journalists stated that the suspect was arrested by the Fika Divisional Police Station at Ngalda market based on a credible tip-off from a patriotic citizen.
He also stated that the suspect is complying to the investigation processes and helping in the trace to arrest his fleeing syndicate members.
According to him, the 27 years old suspect, Kabir Sani is a resident of Tadangara Village, in Ngalda, Fika LGA of the state.
The PPRO added that the areas ògo operation of the syndicate are: Fika, Gulani as well as part of Potiskum and Gujba LGAs.
The exhibit recovered from the suspect included AK 47 Riffle, Revolver Akwa Made, with loaded Magazine of ammunitions, motorcycles, and SIM cards of different brands.
While investigation is in progress, the Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmad, is seeking the support of all and sundry in his efforts to flush out Criminal elements in the State.
