Zamfara State government has assured to support, promote and ensure an enabling environment for entrepreneurs toward economic growth in the state.
Speaking on Saturday evening during the formal launching of entrepreneurs First exhibition in Zamfara state, held at command guest house in Gusau, Governor Dauda Lawal expressed his appreciation to SUNARS Global Concept, the organizers of the event in the state.
“I would like to express my deepest gratitude to SUNARS Global Concept for organizing the Zamfara Entrepreneurship Summit 2024. This initiative serves as a testament to our commitment to promoting entrepreneurship, innovation, and economic growth in our beloved state,” he said.
The Governor who was represented by the Commissioner of commerce and tourism, Hon Abdulrahman Muhammad Tumbido, said Entrepreneurship plays a pivotal role in driving sustainable development and job creation, especially in today’s rapidly changing economic landscape.
He emphasized that it is through the collective efforts of individuals, organizations, and the government that people can foster an environment conducive to the growth and success of entrepreneurs.
“Zamfara State is blessed with abundant natural resources, a vibrant culture, and a resilient and entrepreneurial population. Our government recognizes the potential that lies within our people and is dedicated to creating an enabling environment for businesses to thrive”.

Earlier, the chief executive officer of SUNARS Global Concept , Hauwa Barau, said the summit was designed to expose entrepreneurs in Zamfara and other states to boost their business.
According to her, the summit would avail the participants opportunities to have meaningful discussions, share experiences and explore innovative ideas to boost their entrepreneurial skills.
She added that her organisation in collaboration with the Zamfara government has trained no fewer than 5,000 young entrepreneurs on skills acquisition in the state.
During the summit, a lecture was delivered by Dr. Al Ameen Lawal Tsafe of the federal University Gusau on innovations, who called on young entrepreneurs to work hard and bring more innovation,Said money always works with talents.
