Tragedy struck at the Obajana market in Kogi State as thirteen individuals met a horrifying end in a vehicular accident that occurred on Sunday evening.
The Kogi State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corp (FRSC), Samuel Oyedeji, confirmed the incident on Monday, revealing that the accident took place around 7:30 pm on Sunday.
According to Oyedeji, the fatal collision involved an articulated vehicle and a parked Sharon Bus that was bound for Abuja with passengers.

The Sharon Bus, in transit at the time, had stopped at the market when the articulated vehicle, unable to brake, collided with it.
The impact caused the bus to erupt in flames, tragically claiming the lives of all thirteen occupants onboard.
According to the Federal Road Safety Commission, two persons who were seriously injured are currently receiving treatment at Fisayo Hospital in Obajana.
His words, “Since no hospital was ready to accept the burnt bodies, we are working with the police and the Red Cross who were involved in the rescue operation to see how we can give them mass burial if no relative came for any of them.
