The atmosphere in the Federal Polytechnic Ede, Osun State is charged again over the alleged secret employment is ongoing in the institution.
The rumour of employment for sale was going on in the campus of the Polytechnic between Wednesday and Thursday as some insiders alleged the management under the Rector, Dr John Taiwo Adekolawole of lodging some staff of Integrated Personnel Payment Information System (IPPIS) in Osogbo, the state capital. A slot is ranging between #300000 and #400000
Sources who spoke with InsightMedia said the enrollment of new recruits into IPPIS is being done at the said hotel having their letters of appointment backdated.
However, in a swift reaction by the Polytechnic management, the institution described the rumour as a “figment of imagination of those behind it.”
This was contained in a statement by the Registrar, Alhaji Tunji Agboola on Thursday.
Agboola said the rumour is untrue, urging the public to disregard the information in its entirety.
