See it in other ways, Goats are naturally curious. They are also agile and well known for their ability to climb and balance in precarious places. This makes them the only ruminant to regularly climb trees. And due to their agility and inquisitiveness, they are notorious for escaping their pens by testing fences and enclosures, either intentionally or simply because they are used to climbing.
Summarily, goats are as intelligent as dogs because of their curiosity, unusually significance, and their outstanding ability to prevail even during a precarious times. They are laced with a difference and this and all others mentioned, have been found as indispensable attributes accurately saturated a smiling lecturer; cheerful, intelligent and precise personified in Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, Mass Communication Department that answers; Mr Sarafadeen Aderemi Adeagbo.
Take it another way, Mr Adeagbo is still a GOAT—an acronym for the Greatest Of All Time.
Over time, He has challenged all his students not to acquire knowledge while benching selves on relaxations. Rather, he consistently spurred them to put into practice, all theoretical exercises taught in class. Probably, this is why he has been nicknamed: Practical Lecturer.
Adeagbo is such a dynamic lecturer with unalloyed qualities and zenith commitments to enhancing human capital which then, is the silent message of his extraordinary intentions.
Tellingly, the programme tagged: 2nd Public Relations Fiesta, 2022 Edition and held on last Friday at the New Lecture Hall One, was another significant feat yet achieved by our sagacious lecturer.
The event, which was organized for all Public Relations students, was meant to ensure students think beyond what they are been taught in class—to empower them on how to turn all they have gained in the Public Relations class into practice and to show that not only Journalism can be a prestigious profession in Mass Communication, Public Relations also, can be serendipity, unnoticed. This, he has done, is an outright of Excellence in Character and Technology. He will forever be remembered.
Additionally, in a statement released by him via his Facebook page: “Public relations fiesta is an event designed for PR students to initiate, develop and implement public relations techniques on how to solve or approach any issue/ crisis/task before them”
“The stage was set for the two groups for intellectual and family healthy competition. As expected, they both adopted different PR techniques to marshal their points to outsmart each other but the winner eventually emerged.
“Mirage Nigeria Limited, manufacturer of Miraj Body Cream came first while Pathway Homes and Properties came second. Mirage NL emerged as a result of its overwhelming application of various PR tools, originality and clear articulation of ideas.
“The winner went home with two packs of Indomie Noodles and the runner up with a pack of Indomie Noodles. Kudos to the sponsors.”
However, he also extends appreciation and greetings to the school management and all the lecturers of various departments that contributed to the success of the programmes and FICT as a whole.
Worthy of note, a lot of graduates have always found it cumbersome to excel in their various academic disciplines because it turns out to be another challenge for them to put all they know into practice—a shame on all the years spent in school—but with this, we hope every student will make use of this impactful opportunities to fulfill the motto: Excellence in Character and Technology.
