The Acting Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Information and National Orientation, Comfort Ajiboye, has said that information management is vital to actualizing the Renewed Hope Agenda of the present government under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
She made this statement while speaking at the ongoing 48th National Council of Information and National Orientation in Kaduna on Thursday.
Ajiboye said that under the stewardship of the Honourable Minister of Information, Muhammad Ibrahim, the Ministry has witnessed a remarkable transformation, marked by a renewed emphasis on transparency, accountability, and inclusivity.
She added that the Minister’s unwavering commitment to the principles of good governance has reinvigorated their mandate, enabling them to connect citizens more effectively with government policies and programs.
According to Comfort Ajiboye, “It is with great pleasure that I welcome you all to the 48th National Council of Information and National Orientation, hosted in the historic and hospitable Kaduna State. Our profound appreciation goes to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kaduna State, Mallam Uba Sani, for his unwavering support and for graciously providing the enabling environment for this significant gathering. Kaduna was one of our recent hosts during the 46th Council, and after a quiet period of seven years, it is hosting again. This shows the commitment of the state to the cause of information and communication management, for which we remain grateful.”
