In a heartfelt tribute, the Chairman and Founder of Ojumu Foundation, Dr. Desmond Oludare Ojumu, has eulogized Chief Bisi Akande, former Executive Governor of Osun State, on the occasion of his 86th birthday anniversary.
In a statement made available to his media team in Ijebu-Jesa, Dr. Ojumu extended warm wishes to Chief Akande, fondly referred to as Baba Omo Kekeke, celebrating his impactful legacy. The former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) was described as an “encyclopedia of knowledge, a living legend, and a resourceful politician who has rendered meritorious service to humanity, his community, Osun State, and the nation at large.”
Dr. Ojumu highlighted Chief Akande’s visionary and charismatic leadership, noting his ability to inspire and unite those around him. “Baba Akande is not just a leader; he is a father to all, demonstrating enviable qualities of selflessness, intellect, and integrity. His steadfast commitment to progressive politics and the development of Osun State and Nigeria is unparalleled,” he remarked.
The statement also expressed prayers for Chief Akande’s continued health and strength. “Our collective prayer is that Allah continues to bless Baba with good health, grace, and the wisdom to steer our great party, the APC, to even greater heights. Igba Odun, Odun Kan.”
