Wilson Uwujaren, the EFCC’s spokesperson, stated this in a Monday night statement acquired by our correspondent.

“The trio, investigations revealed, hacked some social media accounts, posing as young attractive women to entice unsuspecting victims to send their sexually explicit photographs,” Uwujaren added.

“These images were then used to blackmail the victims, forcing them to make large financial payments.

“As a consequence, Samuel Ogoshi has been charged with sexual exploitation and attempted sexual exploitation of minors, which resulted in the death of one Jordan DeMay, an offense with a potential sentence of life in prison and a mandatory minimum of 30 years in jail.”

The three is accused of conspiring to sexually abuse youngsters by forcing them to create child pornographic photos, which they then used to blackmail them.

“They are also charged with conspiracy to distribute child pornography, which includes sending images to minors, their families, and friends, as well as conspiracy to commit stalking through the Internet,” Uwujaren stated.

Both offenses are punishable by a minimum of five years and a maximum of twenty years in jail.

“While the Ogoshis were apprehended around the Ojo axis of Lagos in February 2023,” Uwujaren claimed, “Ezekiel was apprehended in Nasarawa by EFCC operatives.”
