On Friday, 26th, March 2021, the Management of The Federal Polytechnic Offa received Irrigation Laboratory Equipment procured from Jinan Should Shine Import and Export Co.Ltd. China for the Irrigation Laboratory of Civil Engineering Department of the Polytechnic.
The equipment which include Rainfall Simulator, Field Drain Filter
(Drain Permeaneter), Sprinkler Testing Rig, Demonstration Lymeter, Demonstration Infiltration
Apparatus PEDl, Open Channel Distributing and Measuring Device,
2.5 Meter Flow Channel, Sprinkler Infiltration were unveiled to the Management led by Dr. Lateef Olatunji at the Polytechnic Main Campus.
The Head of Department of Civil Engineering, Engr. Mrs Adeyemi thanked Dr. Olatunji’s led Management for taking academic excellence into consideration as students will have more exposure to practical aspects of what they are being taught in class.
In attendance at the Main Campus were: Rector, Dr. Lateef Olatunji, Chief Procurement Officer, Mr. Wasiu Folorunsho, Chief Store Officer, Mr. Nurudeen Ladega, Civil Engineering Lecturer, Engr. Amoto among others.
