No fewer than five people have died on Sunday morning in an accident involving a Mack Truck and a Honda Accord car, along Ijebu-Ode-Ore expressway.
The accident, according to the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), involved a total of eight persons, including seven males and one female adult.

Four male and one female adult died in the accident, while two persons were unhurt and one injured.
The primary cause was attributed to speed and wrongful overtaking on the part of the driver of the Honda Accord car, which resulted in collision with the truck.
The injured victim was taken to General Hospital Ijebu-ode and the dead bodies deposited at the same Hospital morgue.
The Sector Commander, FRSC Ogun Sector Command, Commander Anthony Uga, described the crash as an avoidable one if caution was put in place.
He also advised motorists to stop making quick turning on the expressway and rather use the intersection or the proper turning point.
