The Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, has appointed Interim Transition Committee Chairmen for the Seventeen Local Government Councils in the state.
The Speaker Plateau State House of Assembly, Hon Nuhu Ayuba Abok, at a plenary on Friday, read the governor’s communication with the names of the Interim Transition Committee Chairmen for all the local government Councils.

After reading out the names one after the order, the House unanimously approved the list.
Recall that Governor Caleb Muftwang on Tuesday approved the suspension of the 17 All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairmen based on the recommendation of the State Assembly on an allegation of financial impropriety.
Governor Muftwang said the recommendation for the suspension was based on their inability to make available records of their income and expenditure to the house and directed that all properties belonging to the local government areas be immediately handed over to the directors of personnel management.
The transition chairmen, as approved by the State Assembly, are:
Jos East: Hon Markus Hussaini, and Riyom: Hon Sati Shuwa.
Jos South: Hon Peter Vwang Dung, Bassa: Hon Fidelis Adara, Barkin Ladi: Hon Daniel Kim.
Jos North: Mr Istifanus John, Mangu: Hon Markus Artu, Bokkos: Hon Monday Kassa.
PANKSHIN: Hon Samuel Go’ar, Kanke: Hon Caleb Shikir, Kanam: Hon Ado Yusuf, Shendam: Hon Nicholas Kemi Nshe.
Quanpan: Hon Christopher Audu manship, Mikang: Hon Daniel Kungmi.
Langtang North: Hon Nanmwa Kumzhi, Langtang South: Hon Mrs Manji Dangfa and Wase: Hon Hamisu Anani
