Lagos State Government says it has granted 24,201 planning permits out of 32,870 received in the last five years of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu’s administration.
This was disclosed by the Commissioner for Physical Planning and Urban Development, Dr Oluyinka Olumide, during the annual ministerial press briefing on the achievements of the ministry in the last year.
Giving the details of the planning permits granted, he revealed that 2,030 permits were granted out of 3,814 in 2019; 4,821 permits out of 6224 in 2020; 6,329 permits out of 7,967 in 2021; 5,060 permits out of 6,823 in 2022; and 5,961 permits out of 8,042 in 2023.
