The founding Pastor, House On The Rock church, Paul Adefarasin, has announced the passing of his mother, Hilda Joanne Adefarasin.
The nonagenarian died at age 98 in her home on Sunday, February 5, 2023.
The cleric, sharing a picture of his late mother, revealed this via his Instagram page on Monday.
“As announced by the head of the family: J A Adefarasin III. We thank the Almighty God for the life of our mother, Mrs. Hilda Joanne Adefarasin (nee Petgrave), who passed unto glory peacefully in her home, on the evening of Sunday the 5th of February 2023, at the age of 98 years.

“She is survived by children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.”
Adefarasin described his mother as a woman who led an “illustrious life of service as she parented her children, doted over her husband, and impacted generations and communities.”
He sought for privacy from the public as the family grieves and plans for her funeral.
Joanne’s death comes weeks after the Pastor celebrated his 60th birthday anniversary.
Information Nigeria understands that the Pastor lost his father, Joseph Adetunji Adefarasin, a former Chief Judge of Lagos State, in 1989.
