The governor, who commended Oba Oluyede, over his commitment to peace and development of youths in the kingdom, urged the people of the community to rally around the traditional ruler to accelerate the pace of development of the town.
Akeredolu assured the people that his administration would always be available to partner with the people’s community to ensure the progress, development and growth of Ayede Ogbese.
“I am highly impressed by the progressive activities and tremendous achievements of Oba Oluyede and his illustrious Olori, Olufunmilayo in the Ayede Ogbese community for just one year on the throne.
“The enthronement of Oluyede has changed the narrative of Ayede Ogbese and drastically improved the socioeconomic development of the community. He has been able to reduce poverty in the town through the development of youths.
“I note particularly how the Kabiyesi and his Olori have continued to deploy their wealth of experience and network for the service and development of the area, not only Ayede Ogbese but also the state and humanity in general.
“The fact that the first coronation anniversary is being commemorated with a musical concert with the theme “A Meeting with the KING of kings” is a testament that the Kabiyesi is threading on the path of KING DAVID in the Bible.”
In his remark, Oba Oluyede appreciated God for giving him the grace to celebrate the first coronation anniversary in good health, with a promise to always work towards the development of the Ayede Ogbese community.
He appreciated the Governor for coming to identify with him and his people, describing the Governor as a committed leader to the development of the people of the state.
He noted that the people of the state were very happy with Akeredolu’s administration hence the people’s determination to join hands with the government to support his government.
The monarch used the forum to call for the security of the communities in the state and called for a security presence in most of the communities, saying the people of the community are ready to join hands with the government in the fight against insecurity in the state.
The monarch also commended the people for their support and said “with your support, we can together change the narrative of the Ayede Ogbese community.”
