A Noble Mission
The Aliko Dangote Foundation’s mission is to distribute over a million 10kg bags of rice across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas.
Addressing Economic Challenges
This initiative aims to alleviate the economic hardships faced by Nigerians nationwide.
Strategic Commencement
The rice distribution program kicks off in Kano and Lagos States, two key regions in Nigeria.
Focused Allocation
Mr Dangote has earmarked 120,000 bags of rice for distribution in Kano, managed in partnership with the Kano Hisbah Board.
Inclusive Approach
The distribution involves collaboration with state and local governments, as well as community partners, ensuring equitable delivery to vulnerable populations regardless of social, religious, or political backgrounds.
Ramadan Relief
In addition to rice distribution, 10,000 iftar meals will be provided throughout Ramadan to those in need in Kano Municipality.
