The Success Football Club emerged the overall winner of Owaloko contested football tournament put together by the Federation of Iloko-Ijesa Students Union.
A week football event which kicked off on Saturday December 18, climaxed on Saturday January 01, 2022 at Olashore International School pitch located inside Iloko-Ijesa with eight participating media-based teams.
The teams that participated include Arowotawaya FC, Success FC, Diamond FC, Owaloko FC, Femodino FC, Timsed FC, Amicable FC, Hungry lion FC.
Owaloko congratulated the winners and all participants just as he also made cash donation to the two teams that played as well as match officials in the final of the football event.
In his remarks, HRM Oba (Dr) Akeem Olusayo Ogungbangbe while commending the matured disposition of teaming members, he expressed gratitude to all that supported the various events.
High Chief Ishola Ogunsanya, Baba Orisa of Iloko-Ijesa, Chief Odeyemi Kehinde, Logan of Iloko-Ijesa, High Chief Dada, Baba Waseye of Iloko-Ijesa, Iloko-Ijesa Development Association Public Relations Officer, Mr. Olorunfemi Olatunji Opeyemi (Awoko), National Association Of Osun State Students’ Financial Secretary, Comrade Awoyemi Olayinka Rafael (Nation), Tpl Omojola Taiwo, Mr. Adejola Taiye, Baba Oba 1 were among top dignitaries that graced the event.
