..Continues His Philanthropic and Humanitarian Programmes in Oshodi-Isolo LGA
Hon. (Amb.) Adebanji Adeoye Atewogboye, popularly known as Skibanj, has debunked the rumour that he is contesting for Lagos State House of Assembly under Oshodi-Isolo Constituency 1 in the 2023 general election.
Rather, the former aspirant in 2021 Oshodi-Isolo Local Government chairmanship, Skibanj, remained focus, resilient and staunch supporter of the incoming Nigeria President, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu and reelection of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the election.
The rumour, which is the prediction held by the people in the political sphere of Oshodi-Isolo Local Government Area, of Skibanj contesting for the house of representative seat was widely circulated in the area and on social media.
Clarifying the misconception about his participation in the election, Skibanj said: “Promptly, It is pertinent to clear the inacurate assumption of the general public that I’m contesting for Lagos State House Representative under Oshodi-Isolo Constituence 1. Please, general public should take note that, It is untrue and unfounded information.
“Though, it is a good wish of the people and lovers of Skibanj and I appreciate them. But for now, I’m not nursing the ambition to vie in the forthcoming election. I remain focused and loyal party member” he emphasized.
He also vowed to remain an ardent supporter of Asiwaju Bola Tinubu’s presidential ambition and second term of Mr. Babajide Sanwo-Olu as Lagos State Governor, due to their developmental and unsurpassed programmes in the state.
However, the renowned grassroot politician cum philanthropist, Hon. Skibanj has been making impacts in the lives and welfare of over thousand party members, widows, less priviledges, youths and aged-people through his annual programme tagged: ‘Skibanj Welfare and Poverty Alleviation for many years.
